Developing the college list includes an assessment of the student’s desired college criteria, interests and values, transcript and standardized test score review and advising, and how to research colleges, culminating in the creation of a balanced list of good-fit colleges (academically, socially & culturally).
COLLEGE APPLICATION SUPPORT
Our multi-faceted approach includes personalized Common Application guidance, strategic timeline planning, timely submission of required documents, intentional college visit coordination, focused interview preparation, and assistance setting up and learning to navigate college portals (maximum of 20 college applications).
RESUME & INTERVIEW SUPPORT
Many schools now request a student’s resume with the application, and interviews are becoming common again at many colleges. We can assist students in building a polished, well-organized resume and offer tailored interview coaching to help them present their experiences, achievements, and strengths confidently and effectively.
FINANCIAL AID GUIDANCE
After having completed thousands of financial aid forms over the last 15 years, we have a deep understanding of both the FAFSA and CSS Profile and can offer personalized assistance completing those applications, and guidance on identifying and applying for potential scholarships.
PERSISTENCE
We know transitioning to college involves a lot of changes and challenges. Through years of working with students on many different college campuses, we are able to offer continued assistance to ensure a successful college experience. We can assist with every part of the college journey, including: orientation preparation, class discussions, information about majors, resources on campus, talking to professors, and ways to get engaged to enhance belonging. We also help address ideas for time management, how to incorporate study abroad, and how to avoid common pitfalls.
